King of Prussia District and Upper Marion Township Partner to Celebrate First Responders, Essential Workers with ‘We See You, KOP’ Campaign

By

King of Prussia District and Upper Merion Township have joined forces for the We See You, KOP: Honoring Our Essential Heroes campaign that recognizes first responders and essential workers in King of Prussia.

As part of the campaign, individuals and businesses are invited to nominate their deserving neighbors, co-workers, and employees who live and/or work in King of Prussia that are prioritizing the needs of others ahead of their own on the job during the coronavirus pandemic.

Nominations opened on May 1 and can be submitted here.

Each Friday, starting with May 15, King of Prussia District and Upper Merion Township will honor one first responder or essential worker across their social channels, websites, and e-newsletters.

“We are very fortunate to live in a community with so many amazing and essential workers – from healthcare to public safety to foodservice,” said Upper Merion Chairman Bill Jenaway. “Honoring these folks is the absolute least we can do when they are sacrificing their own health and safety for others.”

While the honorees will at initially be celebrated online, organizers plan to bring them all together for a special ceremony once in-person gatherings are permitted.
