King of Prussia’s Workhorse Brewing has launched the #Raiseyourglass charitable initiative to benefit three local organizations helping those in need, along with a new Workforce IPA, proceeds from which will directly support the restaurant industry that has been decimated by the pandemic.
The initiative is accompanied by a promotional video that pays tribute to the workers on the front lines of the coronavirus battle by raising a glass to them “until we can rise one with you.”
The organizations that will benefit from the initiative include The Upper Merion Township Foundation, Laurel House, and The MONTCO Anti-Hunger Network.
Each Monday, $1 from every $6 4-pack sold out of the breweries King of Prussia location will be donated and split evenly between the three charities. Workhorse has also committed a dollar for dollar match for every $1 donation.
Additionally, $1 from every 4-pack sold of the newly created Workforce IPA will go directly to the Restaurant Workers’ Community Foundation.
“The bricks and sketch-like nature of the initial label are designed to indicate the rebuild is very much a work in progress; as we re-brew future editions of the beer, we will both add layers of bricks and refine the label design, making it closer to ‘whole,’” wrote the brewery.
