King of Prussia’s Victus Sports are showing off on the international stage as players from around the world swing their wood at the World Baseball Classic.
The Major League Baseball season is just around the corner, but rather than tuning into Spring Training, many fans are watching their favorite players compete on the world stage.
For fans in Montco, the WBC isn’t just a chance to get an early Schwarbomb — it’s a way to see the latest custom bats from Victus. The baseball company debuted bats for four competing countries.

Kansas City Royals shortstop Bobby Witt Jr. showed off Team USA’s Valiant Bat. The design depicts a bald eagle wearing a Team USA headband on one side and the 13 stars of the original American flag on the other. Witt has already made an impact in the tournament, turning heads with highlight-reel defense — including a diving stop and throw from his knees to rob Mexico of a base hit during Team USA’s 5-3 win.

.
Seattle Mariners centerfielder Julio Rodriguez is playing for the Dominican Republic. He showed off the Carnival bat. This bat design showcases the Diablo Cojuelo mask. The Diablo Cojuelo is a popular character in Dominican culture who first made his debut at a carnival in 1520. Rodriguez has been part of a Dominican lineup that stormed through pool play, helping the team remain undefeated early in the tournament.

.
Jarren Duran plays the outfield for Boston in the Major Leagues. But in the WBC, he slugs for Team Mexico. He shows off the Victus Luchador bat. The green bat has a luchador mask emblazoned along the top. Duran made a big splash in the tournament with a two-home-run performance against Team USA, helping spark a late rally in the matchup.

.
Japan returns this year as the defending champs. Red Sox DH Masa Yoshida hit two diggers under the big lights with the Victus Samurai. The dark-shaded bat shows off a bright red, snarling Oni mask, representing the warrior code.
All four bats are available to fans through Victus Sports.
With the MLB regular season only a few weeks away, fans will no doubt get to see their favorite hitter up to bat with a Victus bat, including Bryce Harper and Bryson Stott for the Phillies. Still, Montco fans don’t have to wait to catch local craftsmanship on the big stage.
