For those planning a sports weekend in Montgomery County, Valley Forge offers plenty of exciting ways to fill time between events, just minutes from the fields, according to a staff report from Play Easy.
On day one, you can explore the nation’s past in the morning at the legendary Revolutionary War site, Valley Forge National Historical Park, and then stop by the King of Prussia Mall, one of the largest malls in America, in the afternoon. In the evening, unwind at TopGolf King of Prussia for friendly competition in a climate-controlled bay with food and drinks.
On day two, visit the John James Audubon Center to learn about the legacy of the famed naturalist. In the afternoon, iFLY King of Prussia offers an all-ages, safe environment to experience the rush of indoor skydiving. Later, head to Elmwood Park Zoo, which has giraffe feedings, a zipline, and more than 100 species of animals.
On day three, start with a visit to the castle-like Glencairn Museum, continue at Arnold’s Family Fun Center in the afternoon for go-karts, arcade games, and bowling, and end the day with a family movie at Ambler Theater.
