David’s Bridal is taking another step forward in its digital transformation, writes PYMNTS.
The King of Prussia-based company is teaming up with Popwallet to connect with today’s mobile-savvy shoppers in a more personalized way. Now, they can send dynamic offers, coupons, and updates directly to customers’ Apple and Google Wallets.
The move is part of David’s Bridal’s growing focus on streamlining the shopping experience for busy brides and party-goers. “We have a smart, mobile-savvy, hyper-digital customer,” said Kelly Cook, the company’s Chief Marketing and IT Officer. “This is another step in providing exactly what she wants.”
Popwallet’s mobile marketing tech gives David’s Bridal the tools to craft real-time, customized experiences for shoppers, all without the need to download a separate app. It follows the brand’s other recent digital innovations, including virtual appointments and its “digital stylist” program that launched during the pandemic.
With over 300 stores worldwide—including across the U.S., U.K., Canada, and Mexico—David’s Bridal is clearly aiming to blend physical retail with high-touch digital service. Whether it’s dress advice via text or measuring tips on-demand, the brand is betting on technology to meet customers wherever they are.
