David’s Bridal’s New Partnership Designed with the Groom in Mind

King of Prussia-based David’s Bridal now offers tux rentals via Generation Tux shop-in-shops, blending digital ease with in-store service.

King of Prussia’s David’s Bridal is making sure grooms don’t get left at the altar when it comes to style, writes Tatiana Walk-Morris for Retail Dive.

The retailer has partnered with Generation Tux to bring shop-in-shops to its stores nationwide. The expansion will begin with ten locations and continue to increase weekly throughout the year.

Each in-store display will feature fabric swatches, interactive signage, and popular designs from the Generation Tux catalog. Shoppers can try on styles from home, receive at-home fittings, and enjoy convenient returns the day after the big day. Grooms also get a free rental when five members of the party rent tuxes. Members of the David’s Diamond Loyalty program receive additional perks.

The collaboration reflects David’s Bridal’s push to create a full-service wedding experience. “ For over 70 years, brides have trusted us to ensure they feel beautiful on their big day,” said company president Elina Vilk. “We’re ready and excited to offer the same to grooms.”

In-store stylists will use iPads to access Generation Tux’s inventory, blending digital ease with in-person service. It’s part of David’s broader ‘Aisle to Algorithm’ strategy, which aims to grow beyond gowns in the wedding industry.
