StretchLab, the assisted stretching franchise, has opened its first Pennsylvania location in Collegeville, writes Grant Hennessy for the Patch.

The studio is owned and operated by married couple Jason Guy and Elizabeth Shen. The pair live an active lifestyle and were looking to partner with a brand that they could philosophically align with.

Shen is an experienced triathlete and Jason an experienced marathoner. So with physical activity being a major part of their lives, they have found StretchLab to be a source for recovery and wellness.

“With our athletic background, we realize the importance of stretching and how it improves the body’s flexibility and longevity,” said Shen.

Regardless of age, fitness level, or athletic experience, “assisted stretching proves to enhance your personal and physical wellness,” she said. “Jason and I take great pride in the opportunity to provide such a beneficial service to Collegeville.”

The new studio offers various one-on-one personalized stretching services, such as a 25-minute stretch that focuses on the client’s current stretching needs and a 50-minute head-to-toe deep stretch that works on all major muscle groups.

There are also two small-format group stretches led by a Flexologist. The Collegeville location will also offer the TRX MAPS machine.
