With the pandemic having such a detrimental impact on businesses it can be easy to assume that there is nothing but bad news to be heard about retailers. However, PREIT is demonstrating that is not the case as they announce new stores opening at a variety of their malls, as stated by PR Newswire.

One such addition comes to the Plymouth Meeting Mall, which just last week saw the opening of Sola Salon Studios. Sola Salon Studios is able to safely offer full salon services by offering customers individual suites.

Meanwhile the Willow Grove mall introduced the popular clothing retailer Ardene this week.

In discussing these openings, Joseph F. Coradino, the Chairman and CEO of PREIT, said the following, “As operations continue to re-build steam, PREIT is continuing to make strides in rent collections and building an even more diverse leasing pipeline.” He went on to say, “We are thrilled to be welcoming new stores, that offer new experiences and create jobs, across our portfolio in time for the 2020 holiday season.”

As the busiest shopping months of the year approach, customers and workers alike are no doubt glad to see new retailers take up residence in place of some of the stores that went bankrupt during the shut down. In addition to the openings mentioned at Plymouth Meeting and Willow Grove, a variety of other new stores have been introduced across PREIT’s other malls.
