Players Who Helped MCCC’s Mustang’s Secure Place at NJCAA Tournament Announce Their New Teams
Three leading members of the 2019-2020 Montgomery County Community College Men’s Basketball Team who helped the Mustangs secure a place at the National Junior College Athletic Association championship tournament in Rochester have announced their new teams.
Seth Compas will join Bull Dogs of Union College in Barbourville, KY, while Ryan Black will play for Aggies at Delaware Valley University in Doylestown.
Meanwhile Cameron Reid, who received Most Outstanding Player Honors at the end of the regular season, is joining Bleu Devils of Dillard University in New Orleans.
Each player said they were proud of how they played and how far they had come during the winning 2019-2020 season at Blue Bell.
“I’ll always remember this season,” said Black. “I’m going to miss it.”
“We made improvements to the team over the last couple years,” added Reid. “We were able to reach most of our goals as a team. It was a good feeling to get to Minnesota. It felt like we accomplished what we wanted to accomplish.”
All three also plan to watch the next generation of Mustangs closely.
“To anyone coming up, if you don’t want to work hard, don’t come to Montco,” said Reid.
