PopUp Bagels’ First Philly Region Location Opens March 20 in Ardmore

The fast-growing bagel concept PopUp Bagels will open its first location in the Philadelphia region on March 20 at Suburban Square in Ardmore, writes Michael Klein for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The shop, popular on TikTok and known for its “grip, rip, and dip” format, will occupy the former Juice Press location next to Drybar and SoulCycle. The opening day celebration will last from 8 to 11 a.m. After the Ardmore opening, the chain plans to expand further across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.

Brian Harrington, a local franchisee and cofounder of Table 95 Hospitality, is in charge of the regional rollout through his firm Seeded Capital Partners. The group holds the rights for ten locations across the three-state area.

Harrington, a Montgomery County resident, became interested after visiting a PopUp in New York with his family.

“We experienced the product, felt the culture, and fell in love with the bagels,” he said.

Suburban Square was chosen as the first location for a reason. It’s ideal for its strong foot traffic, convenient transit access, and a diverse retail mix.

“Suburban Square was a no-brainer,” said Harrington. “You’ve got strong co-tenancy, great accessibility, and a built-in flow of people throughout the day.”
