Brothers Jared and Price Kushner, who are united by their love of good food and bagels, realized their dream by opening Up-Ryes Bagels in Bryn Mawr, reports Jennaphr Frederick for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
With a diverse range of bagels, the shop makes it easy for every customer to find something that they like.
“Our best seller is The Everything, but even The Plain, so much goes into just our plain,” said Jared. “My favorite is The Sesame.”
Other choices include The Fix, Dirty Chai, Simple Nova, Old Man & The Sea, Big Kipper, and Garden Vedge, along with many other varieties.
The owners attribute their bagels’ popularity among locals to the high quality ingredients they use.
“Good ingredients are our one step,” said Jared. “I think you need a good recipe, but a lot of the process, which is really tedious, goes into every bagel that comes out.”
Saturdays are usually the busiest days, in addition to Mother’s Day, Jewish holidays, and graduation events.
