The Swedish home furnishings brand—with its US headquarters in Conshohocken—plans to open six more U.S. locations before the end of 2025, adding to the five that have already launched this year.

The company’s mix of full-size stores and smaller “Plan and Order” points aims to improve accessibility and convenience, particularly for customers designing kitchens, closets, and bathrooms. These points often include local pick-up hubs for online orders.

Regional additions on the way include a Plan and Order point in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, slated to open in June.

“As we expand across the U.S., our goal is simple: to be there for our customers, wherever they are and however they choose to shop,” said Rob Olson, COO of IKEA U.S.

So far this year, IKEA has opened four Plan and Order locations in Arizona and California, plus a new pickup point in Santa Monica. By 2026, two more full-size stores are planned for Texas and Arizona.
