IKEA and Phaidon have collaborated on a dynamic new book that explores how to live more sustainably around the world, reports Youthopia.

The study for the book Us & Our Planet: This is How We Live, was based on experiences of both ordinary and extraordinary lives, pointing out that small changes every day can make a difference in the sustainability of the planet.

Us & Our Planet is categorized into six themed chapters of Rest, Time, Food, Space, Play, and Togetherness, where each section highlights three notable IKEA designs and two case studies.

Readers can visit 12 different homes and workplaces from Moscow to Mexico, from to Beirut to Bali, to see how we can find ways to improve our everyday living situations, such as cooking or farming.

Our everyday actions might seem inconsequential, but the future of our planet starts with us.

IKEA’s book, Us & Our Planet: This is How We Live was released in March and is available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
