Pearl by David’s Aims for Exponential Growth with Elina Vilk at the Helm
Pearl by David’s appointed Elina Vilk as chief business officer of the event planning brand, reports Retail Customer Experience.
Pearl by David’s is an app that aims to enhance David’s Bridal’s presence in the event planning industry. It is the only app of its kind to integrate an in-person element along with a rewards-oriented Diamond Loyalty Program. This initiative focuses on creating seamless and comprehensive customer experiences.
Kelly Cook, president of brand, technology, and finance at Conshohocken-based David’s Bridal, expressed optimism about Vilk’s appointment. She described it as a critical moment for the company and expects it to foster significant growth. “Pearl continues to emerge as the leading event planning platform, bringing her [the bride] a seamless, stress-free experience and Vilk is poised to help us lead this critical new chapter ahead,” Cook stated.
Vilk expressed her excitement about joining the team at David’s Bridal, where she aims to build upon Pearl’s existing success. She highlighted the importance of connecting with women, who represent 85% of consumer spending and often key decisions within households.
“It’s our goal to be there for (women) and form an emotional connection during this important milestone that can last a lifetime,” Vilk explained.
Her objective is to develop a world-class platform that prioritizes the needs and experiences of brides.
With nearly 25 years of expertise, Vilk’s background includes roles as CMO at Hootsuite and WooCommerce. She also held positions at major companies like Meta, PayPal, Visa, and Yahoo.
Her extensive experience positions her well to lead Pearl by David’s into its next chapter, aligning the brand’s mission with the evolving needs of brides-to-be.
