The North Montco Educational Foundation’s Third Annual Car Show raised more than $20,000 in support of the foundation’s mission to encourage innovation and teaching excellence.

The foundation’s signature fundraiser provides financial support to help North Montco Technical Career Center respond to emerging educational needs, as well as develop long-term relationships with the community and industry.

The Car Show displayed a remarkable array of more than 85 vehicles, each vying for top honors in one of six categories: street rods, antique-classic-survivor, muscle cars, trucks, imports, and a special category for student entries.

Judged by NMTCC’s Automotive and Collision Repair instructors, the event highlighted the passion of car enthusiasts. Among the captivating vehicles was Bill Garrison’s 1973 Dodge Charger SE, which earned him the prestigious Director’s Choice Award, personally selected by Gina Pardovich, NMTCC’s Administrative Director.

The uniquely crafted trophies given to award winners were designed and fabricated by students under the guidance of Joseph Simes, of the Auto Technology program, and Rocco Sexton, of the Welding program. Utilizing internal engine components, these trophies not only honored the winners but also revealed the ingenuity and skill of the students. Adding a personalized touch, engraved trophy plaques crafted by John Jacobs’s Computer Integrated Machining students adorned each award.

The foundation expressed gratitude for the exhibitors, spectators, and sponsors — all of whom contributed to making the Car Show memorable.
