Norristown’s Kitten Sanctuary Needs Your Help

By

With its no-cage, no-kill policies, Norristown’s Kitty Cottage Adoption Center has revolutionized the way shelters for homeless cats are run, according to a staff report from the Philadelphia Sun.

The cozy, temporary residence for surrendered or rescued cats has been running for 14 years and has already found homes for more than 3,000 cats.

However, the shelter is always in need of volunteers to help clean, feed, and socialize with the animals. Kitty Cottage is inviting people all ages who can spare some time to come learn and help the kitties, while they wait to be placed in their adoptive homes.

Also, anyone interested in giving these animals the ultimate gift of adoption can look either on the shelter’s official webpage or Facebook for adoptable cats.
