This Montco College Ranks in the Top Five Among Best Community Colleges in PA

To determine where students can receive the best and most affordable education, WalletHub compared community colleges across three key dimensions, including the cost and financing, education outcomes, and career outcomes.

These were then compared across 19 key metrics, including per-pupil spending, faculty salary, and student-faculty ratio.

Montgomery County Community College made the top five best community colleges in Pennsylvania, according to a recently released report by WalletHub.

Montgomery County Community College ranked in fourth place for Pennsylvania, and at No. 411 nationwide with an overall score of 52.58.

For specific categories, the school placed third in the state in education outcomes and career outcomes and fourth in cost and financing.

Nationwide, it ranked the highest in career outcomes in No. 113.

At MCCC, students are involved in on-campus clubs and government, choir, theatre, the campus newspaper, athletics, leadership training, professional organizations, and social and academic events

MCCC provides a whole host of support services, including academic, financial aid and career advising, childcare, counseling, disability accommodations, and food assistance.

Two neighboring colleges also ranked among the top five in Pennsylvania.

Bucks County CC ranked highest, taking the top spot in the Keystone State, while Delaware County CC came in third.
