Recognizing the enormous growth in the healthcare industry and in its own health profession majors, Immaculata University will be establishing a college/school of Health Professions that will be centered around the new Parsons Science Pavilion.

With the scheduled opening of the Parsons Science Pavilion slated for the fall of 2022, Immaculata is laying the groundwork for the launch of the new college/school of Health Professions to support that timeframe. A taskforce was assembled to examine the current structure of the university and to identify other opportunities for growth and sustainability.

“The emphasis on healthcare is not a new initiative, as Immaculata has been a leader in graduating nursing, allied health, and exercise science students for many years. Our nursing program began over 35 years ago, and we have been providing education in nutrition for over 90 years,” said Immaculata President Barbara Lettiere. “The new college/school’s focus on health professions will enable us to expand resources for students who seek a career in the healthcare field and also for students who take lab sciences for any major.”

Students at Immaculata can choose to major in nursing, nutrition, and a variety of allied health programs and exercise science disciplines. Immaculata also maintains partnership agreements with several higher education institutions in the region to expand the offerings of healthcare degrees.
