Philadelphia Magazine: Latest Addition to King of Prussia Mall is COVID-19 Store
The latest addition to King of Prussia Mall is the COVID-19 store that offers a variety of items that are helping people stay safe in style, writes Victor Fiorillo for the Philadelphia Magazine.
The new boutique is located in a small space right by Sephora. Customers who enter the store can see their body temperature on a display device located near the door.
Its predominant products are masks. The store’s offerings include designer masks, retro – and sometimes strange – masks, and a range of masks with zippers. There are even masks with a built-in hood, among many other styles.
“If you tried to buy a Louis Vuitton mask at the Louis Vuitton store, it would cost you $300,” explained a salesperson, whereas unofficial designer masks sold at the King of Prussia Mall store cost $30.
The store also offers various mask sprays, including lavender and mint to help keep your mask smelling pleasant. There are also gizmos that can be used for opening doors or pressing buttons to avoid any skin contact with surfaces that are considered highly unsafe.
