The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society’s Philadelphia Flower Show, which this year is inspired by exotic Mediterranean gardens, will feature several exhibits from Montgomery County landscapers, writes Samantha Cummons for The Montco Explorer.

Focused around the Riviera Holiday theme, the 2020 Flower Show will offer dazzling displays by premier floral and landscape designers from around the world at Pennsylvania Convention Center from Feb. 29 through March 8.

“As you enter the show, groves of citrus trees lead the way providing a lush, dramatic promenade to the sunshine-drenched landscape ahead,” said PHS Communications Manager, Kevin Feeley.

And that is just the beginning he added, as there will be plenty more flowering arches and show gardens to capture everyone’s attention.

In addition to the displays showcasing all kinds of exotic destinations, local legends will also be on display.

These will include award-winning exhibits from Burke Brothers Landscape Design and Hunter Hayes Landscape Design, both from Montgomery County.

Other local exhibitors include Greater Philadelphia Chapter of American Rhododendron Society, Delaware Valley Water Garden Society, Lakeside School Greenhouse, Delaware Valley Chapter of North American Rock Garden Society, Pennsylvania Bonsai Society, Refugia Design, Robertson’s Flowers & Events, and Temple University.
