A Montgomery County window washing company showed its generosity on #GivingTuesday by providing free services for the neediest in the community, writes Ryan Scott for Forbes.

#GivingTuesday is a movement built by countless individuals, families, organizations, and communities nationwide and across the world. Last year alone, nonprofits raised more than $117 million on November 29, with much more generated through donations such as time, clothes and food.

Jenkintown Building Services, run by Marty Tuzman, employs about 100 men, many of whom are struggling to make ends meet. However, while they may not have money to spare for charity, they found an incredible way to help out on #GivingTuesday by working for free at local homeless shelters and low-income housing.

The impact of their small but important donation is not only felt by those on the receiving end of it, but also by those providing the service.

“We are inspired by the dedication of the individuals, families and communities who have built this global giving movement, here in the U.S. and across the world,” said Henry Timms, cofounder of #GivingTuesday.
