With the 2026 FIFA World Cup bringing six matches to Philadelphia, Montgomery County residents will not need a ticket to Lincoln Financial Field to feel part of the global event.
The tournament runs from June 11 through July 19, 2026. Philadelphia is hosting five group-stage matches and one Round of 16 knockout match at Lincoln Financial Field.
The local slate includes Côte d’Ivoire vs. Ecuador on June 14, Brazil vs. Haiti on June 19, France vs. Iraq on June 22, Curaçao vs. Côte d’Ivoire on June 25, Croatia vs. Ghana on June 27, and a Round of 16 match on July 4.
The Big Local Event: KOP Watch Party
For Montco residents, the biggest official viewing option will be the Montco Watch Party at King of Prussia Mall. It’s scheduled for June 30 through July 4 in the mall parking lot near True Food Kitchen.
The family-friendly outdoor fan zone features large video screens, food and beverage trucks, kids’ activities. They have room for up to 1,000 guests per match.
Admission is free, but requires tickets. Registration opens Friday, June 5 at noon through the King of Prussia Mall website. Spots are expected to go fast, so fans should register as soon as they become available.
The Best Soccer Bar in the County
For fans looking for a more traditional soccer-bar atmosphere, Iron Abbey Gastro Pub in Horsham may be the strongest option. The pub has an established soccer identity and has traditionally held international soccer and World Cup watch parties. It’s a natural gathering spot for serious fans.
More Neighborhood Options
Other soccer-friendly options include King’s Corner Public House and Drake Tavern in Jenkintown.
Both offer a neighborhood pub setting. Chap’s Taproom in Eagleville is perfect for fans in the central part of the county.
Montco also has several big-screen sports-bar options that could draw World Cup crowds. In King of Prussia, City Works Eatery & Pour House and Yard House offer group-friendly settings near the mall.
In Conshohocken, Great American Pub and Flanigan’s Boathouse give fans lively bar options. MaGerks Pub & Grill in Horsham, and Fort Washington, and Stove & Tap in Lansdale round out the countywide list.
Getting to the Linc
For Montco residents heading into Philadelphia for an actual match, SEPTA regional rail is the smartest way to go. Parking near Lincoln Financial Field is limited and expensive on match days.
Trains on the Airport Line stop at AT&T Station, which is a short walk from the stadium. Riders can connect from several Montco stations, including Norristown, Lansdale and Doylestown, with a transfer at Jefferson Station in Center City.
Plan Ahead
The biggest crowds will likely form around Brazil’s June 19 match, France’s June 22 match and Philadelphia’s July 4 knockout game. Before heading out, fans should check with each venue about reservations, sound, early openings and match-day specials.
