Bryn Mawr billionaire and CEO of Fanatics, Michael Rubin is back with another headline-grabbing event, reports CBS News.
The executive announced the Fantatics Games which will take place June 20-22 in New York City. The high-enery competition brings together 50 pro athletes, celebrities and creators alongside 50 fans for a chance to win nearly $2 million in prizes.
Rubin appeared on CBS with comedian Tiffany Haddish to tease the event. Haddish will be competing in the games along with stars like Tom Brady, Kevin Hart, Kevin Durant, and Rob Gronkowski.
First place takes home a $1 million prize. Second place gets a $500,000 Ferrari. Third takes home a $250,000 LeBron James Topps rookie card.
The competitions include everything from football throws and basketball shots to UFC-style punch challenges, FIFA kicking contests, and a WWE walkout competition.
“I’m coing for that Ferrari,” Haddish joked. “I know I’m gonna get a man off of that car.”
There will be 8 competitions in all and contestants can use their best six to place.
Rubin teased that celebrities like Micah Parsons, Dez Bryant, and DJ Khaled have called him to declare they will win the top prize.
