With Bala Cynwyd Saks Closing, Stylist Artur Kirsh Moves to Narberth

Following the closure of the Bala Cynwyd Saks, hair stylist Artur Kirsh is set to open a new Artur Kirsh Hair Studio in Narberth this April.

Following the announced closure of the Bala Cynwyd Saks, hair stylist Artur Kirsh is set to open a new Artur Kirsh Hair Studio in Narberth this April, writes Denali Sagner for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

According to Kirsh, news of the Saks closure caught him off guard, but he also saw it as an opportunity to expand, opening two new studios: the Narberth location and a Center City branch.

The Montgomery County studio at 948 Montgomery Avenue will be “very artsy” and “very hip,” he said. It will include plenty of parking, a lively and intimate vibe, and allow clients to schedule appointments according to their availability, including beyond traditional salon hours.

He said that the Narberth studio will be based on a “boutique concierge salon concept.”

Kirsh will continue seeing clients at his Bala Cynwyd location through March to guarantee a smooth and seamless transition to the new Narberth and Center City studios before the department store closes in April. He explained that he selected Narberth because of its proximity to his Saks studio, which helps maintain continuity for his Main Line regular clients.
