F.I.S.H. night (Family Inclusive Sensory Hours) geared toward guests with autism, sensory sensitivities.
Adventure Aquarium is committed to creating an inclusive, entertaining and educational experience for all guests, including those with autism and other sensory sensitivities, for whom a typical trip to the Aquarium can be much more challenging.
As part of an ongoing effort to create an inclusive experience for those with sensory challenges, Adventure Aquarium, in partnership with Shriners Children’s Philadelphia, will host a sensory-friendly F.I.S.H. Night (Family Inclusive Sensory Hours) on Saturday, April 9 from 5:30-8 p.m.
During F.I.S.H. Night, the Aquarium will lower the music, brighten the lights, and reduce the crowds, all in an effort to create the most enjoyable experience for guests and families with autism and other sensory needs.
Adventure Aquarium is home to more than 15,000 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water and offers unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experiences like up-close animal encounters, the largest collection of sharks in the Northeast, and the longest shark bridge in the world.
This year, Adventure Aquarium celebrates its 30th birthday with year-long, under the sea fun, including FREE admission on your birthday, early open Member events, and a goal of raising more than $30,000 to support conservation efforts around the world. As an accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) for more than 30 years, Adventure Aquarium is held to the highest standards in animal care and exhibition.
