With the holiday season in full swing, those looking to make a memory-filled day trip don’t have to travel far. The Philadelphia Inquirer curated this list of Montgomery County’s beloved Christmas tree farms, each offering its own take on seasonal cheer.
In Collegeville, Corkum Tree Farm has welcomed families for more than 30 years with hot cider, cut-your-own Douglas firs, spruces, and pines. They also offer fresh wreaths, holly, and hand-knit winter gear inside the barn. With two locations, including one specializing in trees up to 14 feet tall, Corkum makes tradition feel both cozy and customizable.
Hatfield offers its own holiday charm at Hague’s Christmas Trees, known for its wide selection of cut-your-own options—from Nordmann fir to Scotch and white pine. Visitors can also browse award-winning handmade wreaths or sign up for wreath-making and decorating classes held in the heated barn, turning a tree outing into a creative family experience.
And just outside Pottstown, Westlake Tree Farms brings four generations of history to its 160-acre property. Families can choose Canaan or concolor firs. Afterwards, they stop by the Christmas Barn for Santa visits, train displays, ornaments, and gifts, an ideal cap to a festive afternoon.
