Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montco to Host Minority & Small Business Summit on Dec. 5

The summit is designed to equip small and minority-owned businesses with tools, knowledge, and connections needed to grow and thrive in today’s economy.

The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County, in partnership with its Inclusion Council, as well as the Montgomery County Commerce Department, will host its third annual Minority & Small Business Resource Summit on Friday, Dec. 5.

The event, set for 8 AM-12:30 PM at Montgomery County Community College, is designed to equip small and minority-owned businesses with tools, knowledge, and connections needed to grow and thrive in today’s economy.

Attendees will learn how to:

  • network and foster strategic partnerships to elevate visibility
  • increase visibility and clarity in marketing
  • assess how the One Big Beautiful Bill Act impacts growth
  • diversify income stream
  • access grant funding
  • leverage AI tools to advance your business

Jamila Winder, Vice Chair of the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners, will deliver opening remarks, followed by keynote speaker Donna Allie, the founder and CEO of Team Clean.

  • Carolyn Choh, Senior Financial Advisor at Financial Planning Independence
  • Vernessa Hopkins, Owner of VAH Consulting
  • Lesley Katz, President/Owner of Leveraging Financial Knowledge
  • Jasmine Leatherberry, Senior Grants and Development Manager at Montgomery County
  • Madeline Moore, Advisor at Lacher
  • Tracey Piechocki, Owner of Illustrated Designs

Vendors include the Montgomery County Commerce Department, Montgomery County LGBT Business Council, and SCORE.
