As we bid farewell to 2023, the Chamber of Commerce for Greater Montgomery County reflects on a year filled with significant achievements, community engagement, and the unwavering support of its members.

The Chamber has not just marked its 110th year but has also expanded its outreach and continued to play a pivotal role in fostering a thriving local business community.

The Chamber stands at the forefront of innovation with unique programs that connect community and commerce:

Business Partnership Network (BPN): Fostering strong relationships and referral opportunities among over 80 participants in five groups, BPN exemplifies the power of collaboration within our community.

Business with a Purpose: Led by the Chamber’s Young Professionals committee, this initiative connects members’ time and talent with the needs of over 75 nonprofit organizations, creating meaningful opportunities for networking with a purpose.

Montgomery County Development Professionals (MCDP): Bringing together companies in the   Commercial Real Estate space, MCDP facilitates monthly meetings, fostering collaboration among brokers, lenders, developers, architects, and more.

Power Your Potential Montgomery County Women’s Conference: Celebrating its 8th annual conference, this event brought together over 260 professional women for a day of networking, inspiration, and professional development.

Inclusion Council and Community Engagement: In 2023, the Chamber launched the Inclusion Council, the first of its kind in the county. The Council’s diverse initiatives, including collaborating with the International Spring Festival and organizing a Minority & Small Business Resource Summit, underscore our commitment to inclusivity and community engagement.

New Committees and Regional Expansion: This year saw the establishment of the Veterans and Military Committee, demonstrating a commitment to supporting those who serve.

Additionally, the Chamber expanded its local presence by acquiring the Lower Gwynedd Business Association and establishing the Horsham Business Association.

The unique networking event, Local & On Tap, has become the most attended networking event in the area, providing a platform for businesses to connect, share, and contribute to the community.

The Chamber had the highest-ever number of new members in one year with 165 businesses and nonprofits joining during 2023.
