St. Aloysius Academy in Bryn Mawr is celebrating 130 years of faith and learning in the community, reports Bob Kelly for FOX 29 Philadelphia.
“We’re here 130 years,” said Sister Margaret Fagan IHM, St. Aloysius Academy Principal. “What a tradition at St. Aloysius Academy.”
The celebratory week was filled with fun events that ranged from homecoming to grandparents’ day.
“We have an open house next Wednesday, a golf classic,” said the principal. “This is the place to be.”
Everybody at the school is a huge fan of both the Phillies and the Eagles. In fact, the principal is often seen wearing her Eagles shoes with her Phillies jersey – and the whole community already is preparing for big celebrations after each of the team’s win.
Watch the entire segment at FOX 29 Philadelphia.
