Jenkintown native Bradley Cooper gave fans a first look at his latest directorial project, writes Tommy McArdle for People Magazine.
This week, Cooper and Searchlight Pictures released the trailer for Is This Thing On?, a drama starring Will Arnett and Laura Dern as a couple navigating divorce, identity, and family life. The film is set to premiere at the New York Film Festival on October 10 before arriving in select theaters on December 19.
The star-studded cast includes Andra Day, Christine Ebersole, Peyton Manning, Amy Sedaris, Sean Hayes, and Cooper himself.
Is This Thing On? marks Cooper’s third film as a director, following Maestro in 2023 and the Oscar-winning remake A Star is Born in 2018.
Cooper has been nominated for 12 Academy Awards since 2013 and remains one of Montgomery County’s most celebrated Hollywood figures. He is still chasing that first Oscar win.
Arnett and Dern bring their own star power, with recent roles in Next Goal Wins and Lonely Planet. For Cooper, this latest project continues his evolution as a filmmaker.
