Jenkintown native Bradley Cooper sparked controversy after attending the Eagles game against the Rams on Sunday along with his girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, writes Victor Fiorillo for the Philadelphia Magazine.

Bradley Cooper attended the game as a guest of Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie. After watching the team practice from the sidelines, he headed to Lurie’s luxury box at Lincoln Financial Field, where Lurie’s wife, Tina, and Hadid – who was attending her first Eagles game – were already waiting.

Once her presence at the box started circulating online, some people took issue, citing her unwavering support for Palestine over the past 15 months. Her father is Palestinian American.

Her social media posts have been interpreted by some as antisemitic, including the StopAntisemitism watchdog group, which named her as one of its three Antisemite of the Year finalists for 2023.

“I wonder if Jeffrey Lurie realizes he entertaining a proud antisemite,” said one Philadelphia resident.

It is not yet known if Cooper and Hadid will attend the Eagles’ Sunday game against Commanders at the Linc.
