Montco’s Sabrina Carpenter Makes Philanthropy Part of the Show

East Greenville’s Sabrina Carpenter raises $1M for charity in under a year through her tour, supporting causes close to her heart.

While pop Superstar Sabrina Carpenter is topping charts this summer, she’s setting new standards offstage with her charitable impact, writes Andrew Flanagan for Variety.

The East Greenville native has partnered with nonprofit Plus1 to launch the Sabrina Carpenter Fund, which has raised over $1 million in under a year. Most of the $824,000 came from her “Short-n-Sweet” tour, where $1 from every ticket was donated to causes close to her heart.

The Fund has supported organizations, including the Best Friends Animal Society, the Jed Foundation, and MusiCares, the music industry’s safety net.

“Sabrina’s team carefully selected nonprofit organizations that align with her values, ensuring that every dollar raised makes a meaningful difference,” Plus1 said.

Carpenter joins a growing movement of artists using their platforms for good. Members of Arcade Fire founded Plus1 itself to help musicians launch and manage charitable campaigns tied to ticket sales.

Beyond philanthropy, Carpenter is dominating the pop scene this summer with her single ‘Manchild,’ and scandalous album cover for her upcoming ‘Man’s Best Friend,’ set to drop next month.
