Asher’s Chocolate, the iconic Souderton-based confectioner known for its award-winning sweets, is bringing its signature flavor to an unexpected new form—a donut.
The company has teamed up with Federal Donuts & Chicken to launch a limited-edition Cherry Cordial Donut, just in time for Mother’s Day.
The decadent creation reimagines Asher’s beloved cherry cordials as a rich cherry cake donut, topped with milk chocolate and a cherry cordial glaze. It will be available from May 9 through May 11 at all Philadelphia-area Federal Donuts locations, with an encore on May 17 at the Conshohocken Beer Garden, located right on Asher’s campus.
“This collaboration with Federal Donuts & Chicken is a celebration of our shared roots and a way to bring people together through bold, unexpected flavor,” said Chester Asher, Director of Marketing at Asher’s Chocolates.
The Cherry Cordial Donut is just the first of four flavor-packed releases planned between the two companies. Each upcoming donut will highlight a different blend of Philly flair and sweet innovation.
“We’ve always looked for ways to push the boundaries of what a donut can inspire, and teaming up with Asher’s gave us the chance to bring that creativity into the world of chocolate,” said Federal Donuts CEO Jeff Benjamin.
