Souderton-based Asher’s Chocolate and Conshohocken Brewing Company have joined forces to create an indulgent treat: an autumn ale crafted with peanut butter and chocolate, writes Rahul Kalvapalle for the Trend Hunter.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Autumn Ale uses high-quality Asher’s chocolate, pumpkin, vanilla, and peanuts.

Infusing peanut butter and chocolate into the beer gives the ale a more luxurious taste. The final product has an ABV of 6.5 percent.

The partnership between the two companies showcases the growing trend of incorporating premium chocolates into beer. Another popular trend among breweries is coming up with seasonal bears that focus on flavors and ingredients popular during the autumn season.

The use of gourmet ingredients to create more innovative beer options is another growing trend.
