King of Prussia’s live outdoor music series Concerts Under the Stars will return to Upper Merion Township Building Park for its 39th year.
The series, produced by Rising Sun Presents, begins in May and runs through mid-September and boasts a strong lineup of concerts featuring Aimee Mann, The California Honeydrops, Low Cut Connie, The Legendary Wailers, and many others.
Concerts Under the Stars will kick off with a strong run of heavy-hitting acts in mid-May and early June. The series premieres on Friday, May 16, with Philly rock legends Tommy Conwell & The Young Rumblers, followed by a very special performance on May 23 with Grammy-nominated Americana band The Wood Brothers, and critically acclaimed Grammy-winner Steve Earle on Friday, Jun. 13.
As in years past, Rising Sun Presents and Upper Merion Township will pull out all of the stops for a completely immersive, family-friendly outdoor experience for all ages; from a beer garden with local craft brews and cocktails for the adults to an assortment of local food trucks serving a variety of delicious bites to eat during all events, plus lawn games and access to the adjoining playground for the young ones in tow.
Concerts Under the Stars is presented by Upper Merion Township and produced by Rising Sun Presents, and the event promoters at venues including Ardmore Music Hall, Underground Arts, MilkBoy Philly, and 118 North. In addition to Concerts Under the Stars, RSP will again bring the Sing Us Home festival to Manayunk, co-produced by Roxborough native and nationally-recognized Musician Dave Hause, as well as the Bryn Mawr Twilight Concerts series, the Wayne Music Festival and Ardmore Rock N’ Ride to the greater Philadelphia area this summer.
Events will take place from 7-10:00 PM on select weeknights and 6-9:00 PM on select Sundays. Tickets for all Concerts Under the Stars events will go on sale on the Concerts Under the Stars website on Tuesday, Mar. 11 at 10:00 AM EST. Tickets and more information are available Here.
