Five Montgomery County Franchises Among the Nation’s Top

Five Montgomery County franchises rank among the top of the nation's fastest-growing according to the Franchise Times Top 400.

Five Montgomery County franchises are among the 400 largest in the U.S., writes Ryan Mulligan for the Philadelphia Business Journal. Three of them cracked the top 100.

The list is according to the 2024 Franchise Times Top 400. These companies, spanning a variety of industries, bring in a combined $4.4 billion in global sales across 3,756 stores.

Leading the local pack is The Goddard School, headquartered in King of Prussia, which ranks No. 63 nationally. The early childhood education provider has 627 schools and reported $1.4 billion in global sales, with a growth rate of 16.7%. Acquired by private equity firm Sycamore Partners in 2022, Goddard continues to expand.

Visiting Angels, a Bryn Mawr-based senior care franchise, ranked No. 77 with $1 billion in sales. The company, founded in 1998, has 715 locations and experienced 11.1% sales growth this past year.

CertaPro Painters, based in Audubon, ranks at No. 96. This painting franchise, established over 50 years ago, operates 460 U.S. locations and 28 international outposts, generating $770 million in sales.

Other local franchises include AAMCO Transmission, based in Horsham, which ranked No. 143 with $540 million in sales. 

Finally, Saladworks, headquartered in Conshohocken, rounded out the list at No. 360 with $79 million in sales.
