Suburban Square in Ardmore. Montgomery County has ranked among the top five highest-earning counties in Pennsylvania, using data from the U.S. Census Bureau.

Montgomery County has ranked among the top five highest-earning counties in The Keystone State, according to Stacker.  

Stacker compiled data from the U.S. Census Bureau and ranked the counties based on a 2020 5-year estimate of the median household income.  

Montgomery County ranked as the second highest-earning in Pennsylvania with a median income of $93,518.

Nationally, Montgomery County ranked 71 of all counties in the country with nearly 47 percent of households earning over $100k.  

The other counties that made the top five highest earning in Pennsylvania include: 

#5 Northampton County – $73,088 

#4 Delaware County – $76,238  

#3 Bucks County – $93,181

#1 Chester County – $104,161
