Annual Pottstown’s Progress Luncheon Showcases Vision for a Brighter Future

The highlight of the event was the honoring of individuals who have made major contributions to the revitalization and development of Pottstown.

The annual Pottstown’s Progress Luncheon, organized by the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Pottstown Area Economic Development, took place on February 14 at the historic Sunnybrook Ballroom, writes Mahnoor Jehangir for BNN.

The highlight of the event at Sunnybrook Ballroom was the honoring of individuals who have made major contributions to the revitalization and development of Pottstown.

State Rep. Joe Ciresi was recognized with PAED’s second annual Connector Award, while Thomas Hylton, a passionate advocate for Pottstown’s development, was honored with the inaugural PAED Board of Directors Award.

The keynote address was delivered by Eric T. Goldstein, president and CEO of the King of Prussia District.

He offered valuable insights into the success of business improvement districts and emphasized community belief, adequate funding, and competent staff as critical pillars that are key elements in the revitalization of communities.

Montgomery County Commissioners also used this opportunity to underscore their broad commitment to local economic and community development.

The evening served to showcase the bright vision of the future for Pottstown and emphasize that the path forward is through unity, dedication, and strategic collaboration. It was also a call to action for all stakeholders to strengthen their commitment to Pottstown’s future.
