Lower Merion Ranks Among ‘Most Envied’ School Districts in the United States

Test Prep Insight recently shared its list of the “most envied” school districts in the United States and Lower Merion earned the top spot in the ranking, writes Max Bennett for Patch.

The ranking is based on a survey of 3,000 parents who were asked what the most desirable learning environment for their kids would be.

The online company dedicated to helping students prepare for college entrance exams and other education and career guidance found that the most desirable schools were in wealthy suburbs of major metropolitan areas, with Lower Merion School District ranking the highest.

Other local school districts that ranked well included Tredyffrin Easttown School District which ranked 59th most envied and Radnor Township School District which ranked 98th most envied.

Central Bucks School District came in at No. 146.

Test Prep Insight said that the survey results highlight the disparities in education opportunities across the country.
