Radnor Township School District Ranks Among Nation’s Top 10 School Districts

Radnor Township School District, which includes Ithan Elementary School in Bryn Mawr, earned the No. 10 spot on Niche’s 2024 Best School Districts in America list, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

The No. 1 school district in America for 2024, according to Niche was Adlai E. Stevenson High School District No. 125 in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The second and third spots on the national ranking were also taken by school districts in the Chicago suburbs.

Overall, 13 Greater Philadelphia school districts received Niche’s highest grade of “A+”. For the rankings, Niche used data from the U.S. Department of Education, standardized test scores, graduation rates and college readiness.

Also in the top 50 school districts in the nation was Lower Merion at No. 44.

Further down the list, Colonial School District took the No. 232 spot, while Spring-Ford Area School District came in at No. 244.

Wissahickon School District in Ambler was ranked No. 254 in the listing.
