One Montco School District Is Among Top 3 in Pennsylvania

One Montgomery County school district ranked among the top three in Pennsylvania, with six more making the top fifty in the state.

One Montgomery County school district ranked among the top three in Pennsylvania, with six more making the top fifty, writes Ethan Lott for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The ranking is based on the PSSA and Keystone Exams results for 2021, 2022, and 2023.

For the second year in a row, Lower Merion School District placed highest among local school districts in third place overall in the state.

Next on the list is Wissahickon School District, which ranked at No. 15, the same as last year.

Upper Dublin School District follows at No. 21, while Colonial School District is not far behind at No. 23. Upper Dublin dropped five spots compared to last year, when it ranked at No. 16, and Colonial climbed eleven spots from No. 34.

Spring-Ford Area School District ranked in the same place as last year, No. 28. Meanwhile, Lower Moreland Township School District dropped one spot from No. 41 to No. 42.

The list is rounded out by Perkiomen Valley School District, which ranked at No. 47, a one-spot improvement from last year when it came at No. 48.
