Community Health & Dental Care is pleased to welcome Dr. Joshua B. Williamson, M.D. as a Board-certified Pediatrician, specializing in sports medicine, to its Pottstown health center location at 351 W. Schuylkill Road.

Dr. Joshua Williamson, MD was recognized as Philadelphia Magazine Top Doctors in 2020 and 2019.

Dr. Williamson came to CHDC from Albright College, where he was the college physician since 2012 and worked for Coventry Pediatrics for 14 years.

He is a licensed Pennsylvania medical physician and Surgeon and Certified Diplomat in Sports Medicine, and an experienced, board-certified pediatrician who earned his Doctor of Medicine from West Virginia University School of Medicine in Morgantown, West Virginia, and his B. A. in Biology from West Virginia University.

Dr. Williamson did his fellowship in primary care sports medicine and pediatric residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey.

In addition to being a frequent lecturer and presenter on sports medicine, Dr. Williamson serves on the PIAA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee and is a member of the American Medical Association and American Academy of Pediatrics.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Williamson serves as the Assistant Varsity Boys Soccer Coach at Oley High School where he graduated from and enjoys movies, reading, home renovations, and spending time with his family.
