Pennsylvania has plenty of amazing vegan dining options, but only the best have found their way on the Pennsylvania vegan-eats bucket list, including four Philadelphia eateries, writes Emily Kovach for PA Eats.

Vedge is the much-lauded and influential vegetable restaurant from James Beard Award-nominated Rich Landau and Kate Jacoby. The eatery has received national press attention which makes it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. Each dish is well-considered and gorgeously plated. The menu consists mostly of small plates.

Miss Rachel’s Pantry in South Philadelphia is the perfect spot for both big events and dining in an intimate space. Rachel Klein’s food is clever and a bit indulgent as it offers plenty of extra touches, such as house-made vegan cheese and homemade pasta. The dishes are also Kosher.

Blackbird Pizza offers plant-based pies that are adored by the locals. Mushroom sausage and pistachio pesto are just a few of the variety of unique toppings that make each pizza delicious.

The Tasty is a South Philly diner that offers many sweet options, such as waffles, pancakes, and French toast. Lunch dishes include vegan cheesesteaks, fried chicken sandwiches, and salads.
