The Keswick Collective in Glenside, a unique destination for celebrations and events, is officially opening on December 10 with a special holiday event, writes Ryan Genova for Glenside Local.

Owner Colleen McDermott is also the founder of Marry Me Philadelphia. At her new event space, she will continue to host her Vows in the Village, but the space will also be used for a range of eclectic events from art galleries to engaging workshops.

The new event space is at 237 N. Keswick Avenue in Glenside. McDermott recently held a soft opening, but the upcoming open house will be the official launch.

“Each day we had two private events for elopement-style weddings,” she said.

“We’ll be open for the Christmas in Keswick Event. We’ll be doing complimentary photos in front of a backdrop, goodie bags, and our Walk-Up Weddings again to promote Vows in the Village.”

The open house is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Walk-up weddings cost $100 and require a valid marriage license.
