Elmwood Park Zoo Brings Joy to Norristown Students Through Holiday Contest

Winners of the contest and their family will be recognized at a “Community Holiday Party” at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown on Friday, December 22.

Elmwood Park Zoo is partnering with IBEW Local 98 and the Philadelphia Building Trades, and The Ebenezer Foundation to bring joy to Norristown students through a holiday contest, writes IBEW Local 98 staff for PhillyVoice.

Norristown elementary students are invited to submit art and essays to the “Holiday Giveaway Contest” to win prizes, including a new bike and toys.

Children in kindergarten through the second grade can submit an original piece of art. Those in the 3rd grade to 6th grade are asked to submit a short, original essay on what they love most about Norristown.

Winners of the contest and their families will be recognized at a “Community Holiday Party” at Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown on Friday, December 22.

The party will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Ebenezer Foundation, which provides youth development and education opportunities for children in Norristown, is running the contest.
