The National Dog Show – a Thanksgiving Day tradition for those who are not big football fans – will return to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks this Thanksgiving, writes Ashleigh Durden for the World News Era.

The show will once again be hosted by John O’Hurley and David Frei, and will air on Thursday, November 23, at 12 p.m. Eastern Time on NBC. Fans can also stream it on Peacock.

Around 2,000 special dogs will compete for the title of the Best in Show. The show features a whopping 205 breeds and varieties that are split into seven categories: sporting, hound, working, terrier, toy, non-sporting, and herding.

It is estimated that more than 20 million people watch the competition each year.

If you would prefer to watch the pups in person, you can get tickets online and at the door of the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.

The show will be held a few days before Thanksgiving, on Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19.
