Bradley Cooper, Abington‘s hometown star, will headline the Pa. Chamber of Business and Industry’s annual dinner, according to Stephanie Farr in The Philadelphia Inquirer.
Cooper, who also grew up in Rydal and Jenkintown, will take part in a “fireside chat” on Oct. 2, during the chamber’s 39th annual event at Hershey Lodge.
The dinner has been titled a “Celebration of Pennsylvania.” In addition to the actor, it will feature a musical performance by former American Idol contestant Gabby Barrett, an Allegheny County country-music performer.
Cooper, who starred in Silver Linings Playbook and A Star Is Born, is proud of his Philadelphia-area roots. He is a huge Eagles fan and has previously voiced hype-videos for the team. He has also performed with The Philadelphia Orchestra and often expressed his love of Lee’s Hoagies.
During the annual dinner, Bradley Cooper, who is also a writer, director, and producer, will talk about his connections to Pennsylvania, his career, and leadership lessons he’s accumulated personally and professionally.
He’ll also touch on his love for local sports teams, and “how we can all work together to elevate Pennsylvania on a national and global stage,” said chamber president and CEO Luke Bernstein.
