Suburban rules differ by community.
But speaking of the suburbs, the out-of-the-city primo spot for dining under the stars (or the sun) is The Landing Kitchen in Bala Cynwyd.

The menu includes everything from avocado toast with yuzu kosho to a crunchy fried chicken sandwich.
