Warmer weather is upon us, and it’s time to celebrate Montgomery County at some of the best outdoor and rooftop dining that Jillian Wilson, Bethany Ao, and Grace Dickinson have discovered for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Great American Pub

The pub is located right in the heart of downtown Conshohocken with amazing views so you’ll never feel like you’re missing a thing. The Skytop Garden is on a first-come, first-serve basis, so get there ASAP and enjoy all the GAP has to offer you.

The Skytop Garden at the Great American Pub in Conshohocken is located on 123 Fayette Street.

The Landing Kitchen

Located in the former Pencoyd Iron Works, the establishment is a lush hideaway that takes full advantage of the expansive terrace. This was one of its main draws for the owners, Top Chef Nicholas Elmi and his business partner Fia Berisha.

The Landing Kitchen is located at 617 Righters Ferry Road in Bala Cynwyd.

Lola’s Garden

Lola’s Garden, with its indoor-outdoor dynamic with excellent food and a relaxed-garden vibe will speak to the hearts and stomachs of just about everyone with vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and kids’ options: big flavors in entrees, sandwiches, salads, and desserts.

Lola’s Garden is located at 51 St. Georges Road in Ardmore.

This piece originally ran in 2019, with some updates for 2022, in the Philadelphia Inquirer. Read more about great outdoor rooftop dining in Montgomery County here.
