Even before its official opening, the new Pittsburgh location of Pottstown-based Sly Fox brewery has already been added to the bike-and-brew tour on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, writes Virginia Linn for the Pittsburgh Magazine.

Sly Fox at The Highline has been under construction for the last two years and is finally on the verge of opening.

Its parent company was founded by the Giannopoulos family in 1995. And while it is headquartered in Pottstown, the brewery also has locations across the Mid-Atlantic region, along with a taphouse near Pittsburgh’s Point in Pennsylvania.

The new 6,000-square-foot space at the Highline in Pittsburgh features a beer hall with roll-up doors that lead out to the deck as well as an acre of common space.

The brewery will serve 20 rotating taps every day which will be made up of 19 Sly Fox beers and a hard seltzer, as well as a local cider. The kitchen will serve the usual pub fare which will include shareables, sandwiches, salads, pizza, and various other daily specials.

Sly Fox plans to hold live music events and offer happy hour specials.
